About

About Us

The Torry Development Trust is a membership organisation and is also a registered charity in Scotland that was set up by local folk for the benefit of Torry. We are here to work for local solutions to meet local needs  and interests of some 10,000 people who stay in Torry, the boundary of which is the Wellington Road, the river, the sea and the foot of the Gramps. We are one of many hundreds of Development Trust in Scotland and are part of the wider network of community organisations under the umbrella of the Development Trust Association (Scotland) – DTAS (www.dtas.org.uk)

We are here to help Torry folk with the challenges of urban regeneration, the environmental protection of our green spaces and coastal areas, and for the recognition and protection of the arts, history and the natural and built environment in Torry.  We are open to hear your ideas and you can contact us through this website.
